What To Wear
We’re planning for an elegant, summer look that feels appropriate for both an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by an indoor reception.
For women: midi, tea-length, or floor-length dresses in elevated fabrics like chiffon, silk, crepe, or linen blends are perfect. Dressy jumpsuits are also welcome. Since part of the evening will be outdoors, block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are recommended for comfort on grass or uneven ground, and a light layer for later in the evening may be helpful.
For men: suits are strongly encouraged, ideally in lightweight summer fabrics, with a tie preferred. Dress shoes or loafers are recommended.
Lighter colors, soft tones, florals, and seasonal shades are encouraged to complement the garden setting. June temperatures are typically warm (mid- to high-70s) during the day and cooler (mid-50s) in the evening, so please dress with both in mind.
Please avoid casual sundresses, denim, sneakers, shorts, or overly casual attire.
