While we hope everyone dresses in an outfit that makes them comfortable, we are asking for cocktail/business attire. Please know, October in Texas can vary in temperature and can be hot or very cool. Be sure to check the temperature that morning, and maybe pack an umbrella or shawl... just in case!

What is the weather in Texas in Oct?

Answer

Texas October afternoons and evenings can vary in temperature. Historically, the weekend of the 21st is a cool 70-80 degree day, with an even cooler 65-75 degree night. Rarely has it rained on this weekend, but in Texas, we're prepared for all the weathers, all the time! Please be sure to check the weather in the morning of the wedding, and consider bringing a shawl, jacket, and/or umbrella just in case! The ceremony will be outdoors, uncovered (unless it rains), and the reception will be outdoor in a covered area.

Is there pre-arranged transportation?

Answer

There is not formal transportation available from the hotel to the venue, however, San Antonio has a variety of transport options, including rental cars, Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, and the VIA Bus System.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception are at the same venue. There is gravel dirt parking for all vehicles. Please be careful with your shoe selection, as tall heels or stilettos may pose a threat!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to find parking, comfortably walk to the seated area, and find seats. We try our best to be as prompt and timely as possible, and we'd hate for you to miss this special moment!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we have opted for a full, open bar, with a selection of liquor, beer, and wines. We ask that you please drink responsibly and carpool or opt for public transportation if you choose to drink. If you are not a fan of alcohol beverages, we will still have a selection of other beverages, such as water, tea, and soft drinks!

While we know celebrating our special day with your special someone can be truly memorable, the number of guests we can accommodate is limited as a result of our contract with the venue. We have tried our best to include plus ones, partners, spouses, and significant others on most of our wedding invitations. This will be noted by either their name or "plus one" on your invitation envelope!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your wedding invitation included your children's names and/or "and family," then absolutely! Otherwise, we are respectfully requesting your children and/or other family members stay home. As a result of our venue contract, the number of guests we can host is limited. This said, if you have traveled from out of the area and/or state, it is likely that your children were included on the invitation! Please note: we have NOT opted to employ a babysitter for the evening, so if your children are in attendance, we respectfully ask that they stay with you during the duration of the ceremony and reception. With alcohol consumption and the venue's large property which includes farm/wildlife (i.e., peacocks, chickens, etc.) and water elements, we want to ensure the safety of all guests, including the youngest in attendance!
