Casey and Dani met online in November 2014. Despite living in different parts of the country, they could feel they had something special. They met in person the following spring, and knew it was true love. They continued to travel across the country to visit each other before moving in together in 2017. They're been living happily with their cats ever since. Casey asked to Dani to marry him while they were taking pictures of the moon on the beach at The Driftwood in Montauk on July 22, 2018. Dani said "Of course!"
