Question

What's a wedding?

Answer

A wedding is a ceremony that unites two people in marriage, which is a legal union between two spouses that confers certain legal recognitions, rights, and responsibilities. Although a near-universal concept, the nature of what a marriage is can differ widely across different cultures. Similarly, there are a multitude of different kinds of wedding ceremonies that different people perform. Our ceremony will be a Paebaek (폐백) Korean wedding, with a more Western-style reception afterwards (a reception is a dinner and party attended by wedding guests after a wedding ceremony).

Question

Where is the dang place?

Answer

The South Coast Botanic Garden is located at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. See you there! :)

Answer

Your cutest attire, my liege. Cultural clothing is also extremely welcome, if you've got it.

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

If they're chill like that, sure. Please do be sure that they won't be terribly disruptive during the ceremony.

Question

Must we purchase for thee a wedding gift from thine registry?

Answer

Nah, man. Your presence is a present in itself. If you choose not to procure a gift, literally who cares, you're fine.

Question

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

It will be Korean catering, buffet-style. We will also have an open bar; please drink responsibly.
