No one ever imagines finding love on spring break in South Padre Island, TX. However, our love story all began when Jordan, staying a few condos down from Carly, offered to take photos of Carly and her friends, who initially ignored him. Later that night, mutual friends brought both groups together, sparking an instant connection for Carly and Jordan. Despite living in different states (and countries at times), our bond grew stronger with endless FaceTimes and quick weekend trips whenever our busy schedules allowed it. We navigated a long-distance relationship for over two years until Jordan moved to Houston to be with Carly in November 2019. Our unexpected love story proves that sometimes love finds us when we least expect it!

In December 2022, our families met for the first time in Philadelphia. After a day exploring the city, Carly's sister and brother-in-law persuaded us to have a beer at a local bar before dinner. As we strolled down Elfreth's Alley, a historic street, we noticed a flag featuring both the Union Jack and the American flag, beautifully symbolizing our relationship. We posed for a picture with the flag in the background, and just after we said "cheese," Jordan surprised Carly by dropping to one knee and proposing. It turns out the beer plan was a ruse—instead, we celebrated with champagne in the streets of Philadelphia!
