That’s all you have to say?” 😂 Still, despite the questionable opening line, talking to each other felt easy from the start. We chatted about random things, shared little moments from our days, and kept finding reasons to keep the conversation going. What started as simple curiosity quickly became something we both looked forward to every day. After nearly a month of talking, we finally met in person, and everything just clicked. By our third date, we both knew there was something special here. Only five months later, we were already talking about forever. The more time we spent together, the more we realized how naturally we fit. We both love good food and traveling, but even the most ordinary moments felt fun when we were together. And that’s how our story began. “피칸파이를 정말 좋아해요… 너무 맛있거든요!” 믿기지 않겠지만, 그 말이 Danny의 데이팅 프로필 첫 문장이었어요. 솔직히 말하면, Minji는 특별한 인상을 받지 못했고, 다소 성의 없게 느껴졌습니다. 아마 속으로는 이렇게 생각했을지도 몰라요. “피칸파이? 그게 하고 싶은 말의 전부야?” 😂 그런데 이상하게도, 그 첫 문장과는 달리 대화는 처음부터 꽤 편안하게 이어졌어요. 별것 아닌 이야기부터 하루의 소소한 순간들까지 주고받다 보니, 우리는 자연스럽게 계속 연락을 하고 있었죠. 가벼운 호기심으로 시작된 대화는 어느새 서로가 하루를 기다리게 되는 시간이 되었습니다. 그렇게 거의 한 달 동안 연락을 주고받은 뒤, 우리는 처음으로 직접 만났습니다. 그리고 마주한 순간, 모든 것이 놀랄 만큼 자연스럽게 느껴졌어요. 세 번째 데이트를 했을 무렵에는, 둘 다 이 관계가 조금은 특별하다는 걸 이미 알고 있었습니다. 불과 다섯 달 뒤, 우리는 어느새 평생을 함께하는 미래를 이야기하고 있었습니다. 함께하는 시간이 쌓일수록, 우리는 서로가 얼마나 잘 맞는 사람인지 더 분명히 알게 되었어요. 맛있는 음식을 좋아하고, 여행을 좋아하는 것도 닮았지만 무엇보다도 가장 평범한 순간들조차 함께라면 늘 즐거웠습니다. 그렇게, 우리의 이야기는 시작되었습니다.

Fun fact: Danny used to be a cat person and preferred big dogs. But Minji’s adorable puppy, Leah, completely stole his heart — and now Leah is his favorite. Somewhere along the way, Danny also became Leah’s favorite person, much to Minji’s dismay 🐶 Danny는 원래 고양이를 더 좋아했고, 강아지 중에서도 큰 강아지를 좋아했어요. 그런데 Minji의 사랑스러운 강아지 Leah에게 푹 빠져버려서, 이제 Danny가 제일 좋아하는 강아지는 Leah가 되었답니다. 그리고 어느새 Leah가 제일 좋아하는 사람도 Minji가 아니라 Danny가 되어버렸답니다 🐶
