Together is a Beautiful Place to Be

It all started with a swipe right on Bumble, and little did we know, that one simple click would lead to something truly special. From the moment we connected, there was an undeniable spark. Our first date was at Meg O'Malley’s, where we laughed, shared stories, and instantly felt a connection that we both knew was something worth exploring. After dinner, we decided to keep the fun going and headed to a vintage arcade. There, we let our competitive sides shine while playing vintage 1980 Winter Olympic USA versus USSR bubble air hockey that brought out our inner kids. From racing cars, Pac-Man, to shooting hoops, it was the perfect mix of laughter and joy, and we both knew this was the start of something amazing. Since that night, we’ve continued to share countless memories, adventures, and laughter. Each day has brought us closer, and we couldn’t be more excited to say "I do" and start this new chapter together. We’re so happy to have found each other and can't wait to celebrate our love with the people who have supported us along the way. Here’s to many more arcade games, laughs, and adventures to come!

Our proposal took place in one of our most cherished spots—Lake Tippecanoe at Andrew’s grandmother’s lake house. This place holds so many special memories for us, making it the perfect location to begin this new chapter in our lives. During a peaceful boat ride around the lake, Andrew asked me to open the console, where he had hidden the ring. As I discovered the surprise, my heart raced, and I turned around to find Andrew down on one knee. In that moment, with the lake as our backdrop and everything we loved around us, Andrew said, “This is my favorite place, and you’re my favorite person. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?” Of course, I said yes! But the celebration didn’t end there. As we returned to the cabin, we were greeted by Andrew’s mom, step-dad, and grandmother, who had been waiting with champagne, flowers, and all the joyful celebration touches. It was the perfect mix of intimacy, love, and excitement, and we couldn’t have imagined it any other way. The proposal marked the start of a beautiful journey, and we are beyond excited to continue building our future together.
