We Said "I Do"

Our story began in February 2016 at the University of Houston library. A mutual friend introduced us and we realized that we were in same organic chemistry class. We started to study together for the exams, sat next to each other in class, and ate lunch and dinner together every day. Throughout the rest of the semester, we started to form a bond between us. When the time has come, we started to have chemistry!

Minhye always wanted to go to the Taste of Texas, therefore Chan told her that he will take her to the restaurant with his first paycheck. Minhye had a "power of woman's intuition" that Chan would propose her at the restaurant. However, her friend did not agree with her intuition (Chan did not ask her to disagree with her), and in the end, Minhye agreed with her. Although Minhye was disappointed, we had a nice dinner and were waiting for the desert. When the dessert came out, Minhye noticed words on the plate and read "Will you marry me?" and Chan on a knee, asking her to marry him. She said, "YES!"

We slipped a ring on each other's finger And made a promise for life in Korea. Please join us as we celebrate now that we're husband and wife!
