Is there a dress code?

We respectfully request that you dress formally. Non-Western formal cultural attire is welcome! We will be outdoors, weather permitting, and it can get a bit chilly by the ocean in September, so we recommend bringing warm layers and wearing shoes that will be okay on uneven grass.

What food will be served?

There will be appetizers available during the welcome hour. After the ceremony, we will have tacos catered by a local restaurant. Vegetarian options will be available. If you have other dietary needs, please let us know when you RSVP.

Absolutely! Math problems will be provided at the reception for all guests.

What if I don't want a math problem?

Answer

You don't have to do the math problem, but we hope you will attempt it! We have carefully curated a selection of low-floor, high-ceiling problems that we hope will be accessible to guests at all levels of mathematical background.

Are the math problems a joke?

No. They are fun and lighthearted, much like jokes, but they are real math problems.
