To put simply, it was available. September is a beautiful and very popular time of year to visit the Redwoods. We had to become flexible with what would work and we found the perfect date!

How long should we stay?

That is up to you! San Francisco is a short drive away and is a beautiful city. There are many beautiful hikes in the Armstrong Redwoods Natural Reserve as well as coastal views and wineries to visit.
