What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal / dressy casual. Dresses, dressy tops, button-down shirts, or sport coats, suits are great options. Please no jeans, and please do not wear white.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 26, 2026. If we haven't heard from you, we'll assume you are unable to attend and will miss you dearly.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Crystal Coop in Anderson, Indiana.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome to attend, if they are named on the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that you make arrangements for a night off. However, please supervise your children at all times, as there is no childcare available on-site. Parents or guardians are responsible for their children during the event. Please include them in the RSVP

Nearby hotel options include Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott (our preferred hotel with a wedding discount), Tru by Hilton (pet-friendly), and Best Western (known for a hot breakfast with a rotating menu).

Yes, free parking is available at the venue. You may leave your car overnight at no cost as well.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, there will be a bar available during the reception. There will be a complimentary mimosa bar after the ceremony. Guests will be responsible for the cost of their drinks. Please enjoy responsibly.

How far is the airport from the venue

The closest airport is Indianapolis International Airport, which is about 58 miles away (approximately a 1-hour drive) from The Crystal Coop.

Can I bring a plus one?

We have specifically chosen to share this day with a small circle of family and friends. We can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that guests put away phones and cameras during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture the special moments for us to share later.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! A brunch style buffet will be provided during the reception and we can’t wait to celebrate and enjoy the afternoon with everyone. There will also be charcuterie board available before the reception. For dessert during the cake cutting ceremony, there will be a sweet and salty bar available for guests.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Indiana weather can vary, but it is typically in the 80s around this time of year. We recommend checking the weather forecast closer to the date and bringing a light layer if needed.

Can I take photos during the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We plan to have a Photo Bingo card with small prizes for guests who participate. There will also be a website or app where guests can upload their photos so everyone can share pictures from the day.

What is there to do in the area?

Answer

If you're staying for the weekend, there are several nearby things to explore: * Mounds State Park and White River Park offer scenic walking areas and outdoor activities. * The Original Big Boy is a local favorite known for its salad and soup bar and famous original white sauce. * Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville is an outdoor mall about 15–20 minutes away via I-69, with many restaurants and Emagine Noblesville movie theater with IMAX. * Fishers District in Fishers offers many shops, restaurants, and Sun King Brewery. * Fishers is also home to Topgolf Fishers, IKEA Fishers, and many walking trails (about 30 minutes away). * Indianapolis is about 45–60 minutes south of the venue and offers museums, restaurants, nightlife, and many attractions. * For entertainment closer to the hotels, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino offers casino gaming and harness horse racing, and many hotels provide shuttle service.
