What is the attire?

Answer

The wedding and reception is located at a historical sight in Simi Valley with buildings from the 1800's. There are dirt roads, so cocktail attire is recommended with "comfy" shoes. In the reception area, it will be inside of a barn with concrete floors. We would also recommend bringing something warm to put on for when the sun goes down.

Will there be drinks other than beer and wine?

Answer

Yes, there will be (5) signature cocktail drinks and we will have water and drinks for you non-drinkers and kids.

Are kids able to attend?

Answer

Yes! Kids may attend. Please make sure to note that when you RSVP and how many.

Are there hotels near by?

Answer

Yes! We have locked down special pricing at two hotels nearby. You can click on the "Travel" tab at the top to find those locations.

What are the parking options?

Answer

There is onsite parking in the small lot in front of Strathearn Historical Park when you pull in. You can also park in the adjoining cul-de-sac, as well as street parking on Strathearn Place and Union Place streets. There are no fees to park. You can also park in the adjoining Target parking lot as well.

What are the park rules?

Answer

We will have full access to the park. They have asked that we do not enter any of the non-rented buildings, with the exception of taking pictures inside of the chapel if you wish. They have also asked that we be respectful of the site as it is a historical site and would like it to be kept preserved. Please make sure to use the available trash bins onsite and pick up your belongings at the end of the party.
