On one fateful date in October of 2023, Chris and Mindy were scrolling through Match.com and "swiped right" on each other. After texting back and forth for about 3 weeks and turning down 2 invitations to meet by Mindy, Chris was finally ready. For the first date, we met at a park to walk our dogs. It was raining and it was cold but neither of us cancelled. Mindy's dogs were embarrassing and failed miserably as wing-women but, thankfully, that did not scare Chris away.
