So is this like a wedding?

It's like a wedding - but just the reception part! We were married on July 6, 2023 in a private ceremony in the woods of Girdwood, Alaska. There won't be another ceremony, but we will be sharing our wedding film with you all.

The invitation says 6pm but the RSVP lists 5pm arrival.

We were fortunate to add a cocktail hour to our schedule of events! Sorry for any confusion! The festivities will begin at 5pm.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Glad you asked! Parking is limited to 50 vehicles so carpooling is strongly recommended!

What in the world is dressy casual attire?

Answer

Honestly, the exact definition seems to be up for debate. Most folks believe dressy casual falls somewhere on the spectrum between business casual and semi-formal. Skip the tie (and the jacket if you prefer) and think light fabrics, summer dresses and jumpsuits. Our venue is mostly open-air (with some areas air-conditioned) so wear whatever makes you comfortable and happy.

Can I bring a plus one?

If a plus one was not already specified on your invitation, but you have a significant other you'd like to bring along, we may be able to make an accommodation by request. Connect with Lauren or Mindi to make a request.
