Why are you asking for a soft RSVP on the Save the Date?

Answer

Given the limited capacity of our venue, we'd appreciate a general idea of how many guests plan to attend. Your RSVP isn't binding, but please indicate 'no' only if you're absolutely certain you won't be able to join us.

Can I bring a plus one? Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to our venue's capacity, we are not able to give all guests a plus one. And while we enjoy your little ones, we want parents to enjoy a night off! We kindly ask that only individuals on the invitation attend.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think garden chic! For gentlemen, a stylish suit or blazer paired with slacks and a button-down shirt would be perfect. Ladies, you'll shine in sundresses or chic cocktail dresses, paired with shoes suitable for walking on grass or gravel. We want everyone to feel their best, so feel free to add your personal flair and embrace the joyous atmosphere of our celebration!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM and we ask that guests arrive no later than 5:15 PM.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block for your convenience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montgomery and the Courtyard Newburgh Stewart Airport, but there are also many great Airbnb and VRBO options available in the area if you prefer alternative accommodations. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service to and from Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montgomery and Courtyard Newburgh Stewart Airport. There are also local taxi cab services you can use. Please note you will need to call and pre-book the taxi.

What do I do if I need a ride, but I'm not staying at the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately Ubers and Lyfts are not available in Wallkill, NY. Luckily, there are some local cab companies available. Please note that you will need to pre-book a cab ride in advance. What type of dinner service will be provided at the reception?

Answer

We will be serving a family-style dinner during the reception. This means delicious dishes will be brought to your table and shared among guests, creating a warm and communal dining experience. Come hungry and ready to enjoy a variety of options! You'll have opportunities to provide your dietary restrictions on your RSVPs. If there are any concerns, please reach out to us directly.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes, the after-party will take place in the barn from 11 PM-12 AM. If you're on the dance floor, stay put!

What's with the "Irish Exit" policy?

Answer

If you need to slip away from our wedding, but the timing isn't perfect, please feel free to leave without disrupting us on the dance floor. We'll be celebrating all night and are encouraging an "Irish Goodbye" policy, so you don't have to worry or feel awkward. Just know we've cherished your presence and look forward to catching up soon!

Will I be able to smoke outside?

Answer

Our venue is a non-smoking venue. Ashtrays will be provided and smoking permitted only in designated areas on the lawn. We will be fined $250.00 if smoking occurs anywhere except designated smoking areas during the event.
