Although ample street parking is available around the venue, we recommend you carpool as much as possible. If driving or taking Uber/Lyft from anywhere outside the Portland area please allow as much time to get to the venue (weather conditions & Saturday traffic can cause delay).
Cocktail/Semi-formal. We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! This means no blue jeans, tshirts, hoodies or any casual wear. If you choose to wear a dress, we ask that you please do not wear white or black. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Ana or Jeremy.
Unless specified on your invitation, please make childcare arrangements prior. Take advantage of our wedding day to have an amazing date night, a night to relax, socialize, and dance! Thank you for understanding!
If your guest name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Your invitation would have been made out to “[Your Name] & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation
We hope we have given you ample time to let us know if your are able to attend our wedding. However, if you do not RSVP, you will unfortunately not be able to attend. If you were to show up without RSVPing, there will be no seat or meal for you. Please make sure to RSVP before the deadline. Thank you!
Ceremony & Reception will take place indoors. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will be held outdoors in an undercover tented area (with heaters and sidewalls to accommodate the winter weather) while the reception space is being prepared for reception. The outdoor area will be open during the remainder of the wedding as well if you choose to move freely during reception.
LA VIBORA DE LA MAR (“the sea snake dance”): A traditional dance where the couple stands on opposite chairs and joins hands/veil to create an arch. Family and friends pass under the arch while not trying to break the bond between bride & groom, which gets more difficult as music gets faster and guests intentionally try to knock the bride/groom off. EL MUERTITO (“tossing of the groom”): when the males get together, lift the groom over their shoulders and toss him into the air several times. There’s no real reason for this, just a fun tradition! EL BAILE DE BILLETE (“The money dance”): Guests will “pay” for a dance with either the bride or groom by pinning money to their clothing. This wishes the couple good fortune/wealth. How much money? That’s up to you if you choose to participate!
From 4pm-9pm there will be plenty of options to choose from such as signature cocktails, beers & wine! Due to venue policy and regulation we ask that you do not bring your own alcohol. Other non-alcoholic options will be available as well such as a mock-tail, water, soda, & coffee. Please drink responsibly and in measure. Do not drink and drive. If you choose to drink, we ask you consider Uber/Lyft/a designated driver to drive you home at the end of the night.
Please do not take any of the vases, candles, or candle holders as they belong to the florist & wedding planner.
Please take a look at our “Travel” page for more information. If coming from out of town, we recommend staying as close to the venue in case of bad weather. Hotels/AIRBNB in downtown Portland are about a 10 min drive to the wedding venue & about a 30-40min drive from Beaverton (without traffic).
Street Parking! Please don’t leave any valuables in the car. UBER, LYFT & Carpooling is highly encouraged :)
For cocktail hour there will be light hors d’veourves. For dinner we will have a buffet style dinner with different option of proteins & sides. If you have any dietary restrictions (vegan/vegetarian/gluten free) please let Jeremy or Ana know & we’ll do our best to accommodate.
