From SFO to SGN
SGN Airport- Ho Chi Minh City is located in the South of Vietnam. This is the only international airport in HCM city. There is a non-stop direct fly from Vietnam Airlines. But other airlines with connections can be cheaper, such as: ANA, Korean air, EVA, Starlux, China Airlines. I don't recommend Philipines Airline, because they made you pick up the luggage during transit in PL.

There are alot of hotel, motel, and Airbnb in Ho chi minh city. Agoda.com is a good website to book hotel in Asia. I recommend stay in the main districts, such as District 1, 3, 5 and 10. Other district 2, 4, 7, 8,9, Binh Tan are further from the popular area.
