How did you first meet?
We met while we were in university, we were both in the Kinesiology program at McMaster University!
Who Made the first move? How?
Jack did, he bought me a drink at the bar on my 20th birthday and then he blacked out and doesn't remember the rest of the night - Mina Mina did, instagram DM's. - Jack

Obviously me. - Jack
What was your most memorable date?
Really early on into our relationship we went to an escape room together and we were terrible at it, we didn't even get close to escaping the room... But we also didn't kill each other so that was a good sign. The employee working that evening had to keep coming on the speaker to tell Jack that he didn't need to use any "force" to open the little boxes or doors (almost like she knew his track record of breaking things by accidentally using too much force). We laughed about it over dinner afterwards and had a really nice evening. It's funny looking back at it, realizing that now we're really trapped together; forever...- Mina
Whats your favourite activity together?
We love to go for long walks with our dog Joey, they usually lead us to Cheese Boutique (if you know, you know).
What's the best meal you've eaten together?
In 2024 we went to Serbia together and my family took us to this restaurant on the side of a mountain that serves grilled fish caught fresh from the creek on their property (10min before it hits your plate). We sat outside right above an old stone mill and shared an incredible meal in an incredible location with people we love, it really doesn't get better than that. - Mina
Whats the most memorable trip you've taken together?
Spain/Serbia, August of 2024. We spent several days relaxing on the beach in Spain and eating empanadas. From Barcelona we flew into Belgrade and we were met by Dusan and Vuja who swiftly took us to Krusevac and cracked some Pivo despite it being 2am. It was such a treat to meet and spend time with Mina's extended family in their home town. I came home 10lbs heavier and feeling like a member of the family. - Jack

How did you propose?
We got engaged at Ste. Anne's Spa on February 8th 2025. We shared an incredible day at the spa. Mina was relaxing while I was sneaking around with the staff members setting up the proposal. Just prior to dinner I walked Mina over to what she thought was a "walking tour of the property" this is when I bent the knee and popped the question. She cried so much that I could barely hear her say "yes". It was a surreal moment that I will cherish forever. Our surroundings were beautiful as we sat fireside wrapped in blankets and celebrated with a bottle of red wine. - Jack
