Though growing up in different countries, our families’ stories were intertwined long before we met. Generations ago, our ancestors connected through marriage, their lives woven together in a shared history. Our families carried these bonds even as we walked separate paths.

It was at university that our paths first truly crossed. We were acquaintances, unaware of the connection that would one day grow between us.

Years passed. After a decade of knowing each other, it was in the quiet moments of the last few years that we realized what had always been there.

Our journey began with the Shirini on 19th of August 2023, when we were blessed with the acceptance of the bride’s family. Then on the 28th of October 2023, we celebrated our Nikkah - a moment where we vowed our hearts to each other, surrounded by the love and support of our families.

Now, as we stand on the edge of forever, we look back at the unfolding of our story, amazed it led us here - together, at last.
