Emerson Kaleidoscope
You should go check out the world's largest kaleidoscope. Real talk, this is a Guinness World Record-holding, multi-sensory attraction. The Kaatskill Kaleidoscope is the world's largest kaleidoscope, measuring 56 feet in height. It was designed by 1960s psychedelic artist Isaac Abrams and his son Raphael. It cost $250,000 to build and opened in 1996.

The Trailhead entrance is off Route 28A approximately 16.5 miles west of the NYS Thruway Exit 19 traffic circle. Cold Brook Road is directly across Route 28A from this entrance.

The Trailhead entrance is 11.3 miles west of the NYS Thruway Exit 19 traffic circle across from Mountain Road.
