Coney Island
If it's a scorcher of a weekend, we highly recommend Coney Island for beach and boardwalk adventures. -Take a ride on the famous Wonderwheel -Lose your lunch on the wooden roller coaster the Cyclone! -Eat a hot dog at the original Nathan's
Brooklyn Bridge Park
-Jane's Carousel: take in spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the lower Manhattan skyline. -Walk the promenade to gorgeous Brooklyn Heights neighborhood -Free kayaking at Pier 2 on Saturday, 10am-2pm -Free outdoor movie on Friday night: "Selma". Harbor View Lawn. Get there early to grab a good spot!
Lower Manhattan
