Michael and Mimi first met in the Spring of 2020. They had seen each other previously for Michael's sister wedding where Mimi was a bridesmaid but never shared a conversation. Months later Michael gave his sister a ride to Mimi's house to pick up some baby things her sisters had out grown. They share a conversation that day! Afterwards he asked his sister for Mimi's number. She did not give him her number! Michael is not a social media person but despite his dislike he login to Facebook and instagram just to have conversations with Mimi. Mimi did not give him her number until 6 months later. Their first dates were at Hope City church and afterwards coffee. When we went for coffee and there weren't any chairs outside the Starbucks they sat in Mimi's little Toyota Celica where 6.2 Michael did not fit. Michaels curiosity and persistence in getting to know Mimi formed a great friendship that would end up growing into so much more. Mimi now knows how to fish and shoot a rifle. Learned how to setup a trailer and start a fire. She learn all of these things to grow their bond and share time together in nature. They complement each other strength and goals perfectly. Both entrepreneurs and goal oriented. Mimi and Michael have a love to serving their community. They volunteer at their church events and in the kids missnary. Their love for God is refreshing as they seek to know more about God's love. God is the center of their marriage! Fast forward their love grow and their bond was unbreakable. They have traveled around the world together. By air and land. They have traveled too, Hawaii, Maui, South Dakota, Yellowstone, Mexico, Cancun, Grand Canyon, Guatemala, Canada, Idaho, Las Vegas, California, Wyoming, Seattle, Mount Rushmore, Dubai, Israel, Jordan and Greece! Weeks before traveling to Europe Michael started his mission to ask Mimi to marry him. He took Mimi's mom to help him pick out her ring. He received help from Mimi's family to make the prefect proposal. He booked a photoshoot for them in Santorini Greece at 6 a.m. for a sunrise proposal. He was so nervous he forgot to book the transportation which lead him to ask Mimi for some help. He had to tell Mimi some of the surprise. She had the surprise of her life! God's timing is perfect! Years before they were both going through so much where it took time to find themselves. Many years of prayers and patience to finding each other! They are so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife! Mark 10:9 says, "What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate".
