Our story started in the most romantic place imaginable: a Counter-Strike game in 2014. What began as a random online encounter turned into a friendship that lasted for years. Through countless games, late-night conversations, and life updates, we stayed connected despite living nearly 1,000 miles apart—me in Charleston and him in Chicago. After five years of friendship, I finally made the first move in May 2019. It didn't take long for us to realize that what we had was something special. We met in person for the first time in October 2019, and from that moment on, everything just felt right. Over the years, we've shared adventures, built a life together, and settled one important debate: I carried him in Counter-Strike. He may disagree—and he may even be the better player—but that's the story we're sticking with. Who knew that one game in 2014 would lead us here?
