What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire.  Ladies should wear long dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie/bow.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

May is springtime in California, and as the summer months draw near, temperatures are getting warmer while the chance of rain is very low.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will hold our reception at Paracel Banquet indoors.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive on time to take pictures with us, and we can get the party started as scheduled.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

The plaza has plenty of parking in front, but if it's full, there's also parking in the back. Parking is free for all guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our banquet has limited space. We appreciate you letting us know ahead of time so we can arrange seating.

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Since it can get expensive in the area, we recommend you book the hotel or Airbnb ahead of time to get a variety of selections and avoid the extra fees.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Yass! Bring an empty stomach and enjoy our 8-course meal with unlimited drinks.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is the only thing we could ask for! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our wishing well would be much appreciated.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MimiGotFlowers so we can keep track of all of the pictures.
