Even before receiving a job offer in Nashville, I felt a pull to move here and start a new chapter. I'm so glad I followed that gentle nudge because it led me to Chandler. Abby McLean gets the credit for introducing him to me as Woodmont's most handsome Sunday school teacher. So...thanks Abby! Being from Ohio and Michigan, God absolutely guided us to the South and then, finally, to each other. Admittedly, I have not been patient waiting for Chandler, but gosh, was he worth the wait! Some of the most special people in my life have not yet met Chandler, but rest assured. He is kind. He is sincere. He radiates humility and positivity. And, mostly importantly, he is truly the best man I've ever met. Thank you for being in our circle of warm and loving people actively involved in shaping both our characters. To Chandler's loved one's: I'm so grateful to you for molding him into an honest, faithful gentleman. The last year has been a big one, with lots of great changes. The best by far though, was the day that Mimi said yes. It was perfect. We got engaged in front of the new Christmas tree with some beautiful music playing in the background. We have a bright future ahead of us and I could not imagine a better person to share it with. I want to thank my family for welcoming her with open arms, and I want to thank Mimi’s family for welcoming me with open arms. I look forward to all the time that we will get to spend together.
