Bryan and Mimi met through a mutual friend - Bryan heard of Mimi through the grapevine and crushed on her from afar. When they finally met, Bryan recalls thinking, "ah! it's her!" But, while they both grew up in LA and knew of each other in high school, they went to different colleges and didn't really connect until 2009/2010. During winter breaks they would hang out, going to In N Out burger, getting drinks in Silverlake, and even sharing a New Year's Eve kiss a few years. After so many years of always thinking the other person was cute and wondering "what if..." in the back of their minds, Mimi moved to New York City in 2016. They rekindled their friendship and it quickly turned from old friends who had a crush on each other to falling in love. Bryan proposed to Mimi on August 25, 2018, under the Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn, the place where they fell in love. We now live in downtown LA and are so excited to share with your our next chapter this May!
