Our story began in 2016. I had just been accepted to the University of Houston and transferred from Dallas to continue working at the bank while pursuing my studies. A few months later, Milton joined the same branch. We spent nearly a year as coworkers before finally deciding to go on our first date. Though we grew up in very different places — Milton, a true Houston native, and me, a Miami girl who somehow found herself on Houston’s north side — we quickly realized how much we had in common. From the beginning, we admired each other’s work ethic and shared a deep love and commitment to our families. Over the years, we’ve experienced so much joy and navigated our fair share of challenges together. Those moments have shaped us, strengthened our partnership, and made us even more excited to step into this next chapter with gratitude, love, and full hearts. We are so grateful to celebrate this day with the people who mean the most to us!
