What date should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early (i.e., 4:30pm) to allow ample time to park and walk to the ceremony location.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

We recommend carpooling or ride sharing (e.g., Uber or Lyft) to the venue. If you drive, parking will be in the Orange Parking Lot. Please see the map here: https://sdbg.org/garden-map-list/. Can I bring a date or plus-one?

Our wedding is strictly invite only. Due to the capacity with our ceremony/reception venue, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation (please see the RSVP section linked above). Thank you for understanding!

Have you reserved room blocks?

Answer

We have not reserved room blocks, instead we provided some recommendations for hotels to stay in the area. If you would like to book an AirBnB or VRBO, we also provided recommendations for areas to stay. Please see the page "Travel" for more information.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/semi-formal attire. Women are encouraged to wear knee-length, midi or maxi dresses. Men are encouraged to wear suits. Since we will be getting married in a botanic garden, we welcome guests to play with color and floral patterns. Please refrain from wearing any white outfits, including floral patterns that are mostly white. Is this an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Yes! The wedding will be entirely outdoors. We will have heaters and blankets during the reception, but please keep this in mind when selecting your attire, and feel free to check the weather for Encinitas, CA (92024) as the time nears to see what the weather will be like. Historically, in May the high is around 68º F, and the low is typically 59º F.

Is the venue accessible? Are there uneven paths or stairs?

Answer

Yes! The venue is ADA accessible. While there are some uneven paths and stairs between different areas of the celebration, alternative accessible routes are available. We’ll have clear signage and staff available to help guide anyone who prefers to use those paths.
