The ceremony will be in a church. The reception will be predominately indoors for dinner and dancing with a balcony for cocktail hour, other entertainment, and waterfront views.
We mailed our invites 2/22. I have published our RSVP page here on the website, which will ask the events you are planning on attending and any necessary information (guests, dietary restrictions, etc.). If you need any help or have any issues with the site, please contact us. Thank you!
We ask that all RSVPs are in via our website no later than March 27th, 2026. If we do not receive an RSVP back in time, it will be marked as a "no." We have to provide a total guest count to the venue and cannot accept late RSVPs. Thank you for understanding!
We will have appetizers during cocktail hour. There will be plated entrees for dinner that guests can select on the online RSVP. Please mark if any dietary restrictions to adjust the entree as needed. For children under 12, there will be a separate children's' entree. For any remaining questions, please reach out. Thank you.
We kindly ask formal/semi-formal attire for the ceremony as well as the reception (suits, mid to long dresses; no short skirts) We do not have any color requests except try to avoid white. The wedding party colors are navy blue and light green.
There are many nearby hotels, airbnbs, and vrbos. I have included a link to our wedding block at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel. *If you are still interested in the hotel block rate, please call the hotel and they will assist you.* There are also links to rentals in the area. There will be paid parking at the hotel, which is a 6 minute walk to/from the reception. There is also a parking garage connected via enclosed walking bridge to the venue. The church will have plenty of parking.
We are not providing transportation to Norfolk, the ceremony, or the reception. The ceremony is ~20 minutes away from the reception venue and hotel. (The hotel is walking distance to the reception). We understand if you cannot make it and will keep you in our thoughts. Thank you!
Unfortunately, we cannot welcome additional guests. If you have a plus one, your invitation will be made out to you and your guest. If you have any questions, please ask!

We will have music/dancing and cornhole for those who need a break from dancing/socializing.
The only thing Sarah truly cares about is the playlist. She has worked diligently and picked favorite songs and a select few crowd pleasers. Please feel free to listen to whatever music you want on the trip down, while getting ready, while waiting for events to start, the day after...but the reception is alllll her choice.
