Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held at The Venue at Greenbrier Estate, located at 2855 East Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, the estate offers breathtaking fall views and the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Please see the Parking & Shuttle FAQ for details on guest parking and transportation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend planning to arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony so you’ll have plenty of time to park, ride the shuttle, and get settled before we begin. The full wedding-day schedule will be finalized closer to the event and shared on the Schedule tab of this website and/or on your invitation.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking at the venue is reserved for vendors only. Guest parking will be available in the gravel lot at the entrance of the estate, and a complimentary shuttle will bring you up the driveway directly to the venue. Guests staying in our cabin on the estate may also park there and catch the shuttle.

Question

How does the shuttle work?

Answer

A complimentary shuttle will run between the gravel parking lot, the main cabin, and the venue beginning at 3:00 PM. The final shuttle before the ceremony will depart at 3:50 PM (10 minutes before the 4:00 PM ceremony begins). Shuttle service will pause during the ceremony and resume immediately afterward for return trips and cocktail hour.

Question

What if I arrive late?

Answer

To keep the ceremony peaceful and uninterrupted, the shuttle pauses during the ceremony. If you arrive after 3:50 PM, the shuttle will not be able to bring guests to the venue until the ceremony concludes. If this happens, you’ll be welcomed to join us for cocktail hour as soon as shuttle service resumes.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please respond by August 1, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love for everyone to enjoy the celebration with someone special. If your invitation says “and guest,” then a plus-one is reserved for you—just be sure to let us know on your RSVP whether or not your guest will be joining. If your invitation does not include a guest, please reach out so we can confirm if additional space is available.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding will be a family-friendly celebration, and we are excited to have children join us. From our own kids being part of the wedding party to little ones enjoying the day, we can’t wait to celebrate together as one big family. Please let us know how many children will be attending when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outdoors so we can enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountain setting, with the reception held indoors. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there will be plenty of space to move the entire celebration inside, so the fun can go on rain or shine.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes—our celebration will be semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think suits, dress shirts, or dress pants with a collared shirt for men and cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy skirts/dresses for women. Since we’re celebrating in the Smoky Mountains in early October, we’d love for our guests to join us in embracing fall colors—warm tones like rust, sage, olive, burgundy, or neutrals.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests put away phones and cameras during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present (and so our photographer can capture the best shots). Afterward, please feel free to snap and share as many memories as you’d like!

Question

Can we share our photos with you?

Answer

Yes, please! We’d love to see the celebration through your eyes. We’ll have a QR code so you can easily upload your pictures to a shared album. And for something extra fun, don’t miss the 360 Photo Booth at the reception—it creates slow-motion videos that capture the celebration from every angle!

Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! A full dinner will be provided, along with appetizers during cocktail hour.

Question

Will there be kid-friendly meal options?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a children’s menu option of chicken nuggets with macaroni & cheese. Please indicate on your RSVP if your child will need a kids’ meal so we can plan accordingly.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We want all of our guests to enjoy the celebration comfortably. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a full bar featuring a selection of beer, wine, and liquor with standard mixers, plus three signature drinks. The bar will be open throughout the reception, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your favorites—or try ours!

Question

Will there be dancing and music?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll have a DJ keeping the energy up with a mix of classics, favorites, and dance-floor hits. Bring your best moves—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Who can stay at the cabin?

Answer

While we’d love to have everyone stay with us in the cabin, space is limited. We are prioritizing the wedding party and some out-of-town guests first. If spots remain, we’ll gladly accommodate additional guests who are interested—just let us know if you’d like to be considered. We’ll confirm cabin arrangements directly with each guest as the wedding approaches.

Question

When is check in / check out for the cabin?

Answer

Guests staying in the main cabin may check in after 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Checkout will be Tuesday, October 6, by 10:00 am.

Question

Will there be a welcome or rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting a welcome/rehearsal dinner on Saturday evening at the main cabin for the wedding party and out-of-town guests. More details will be shared closer to the date.
