Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. Our ceremony will be held in a Catholic church. Tuxedos are welcome but not required; a dark suit and tie are equally appropriate. Floor-length gowns are encouraged, though elegant midi dresses are also welcome.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for seating.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of our children. We hope this allows everyone a relaxing evening.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We’re providing transportation to make the day easy and fun for everyone! A shuttle will depart from The Starboard in Dewey Beach at 3:30 PM and bring guests to the ceremony at St. Edmund’s Catholic Church, and will then continue on to cocktail hour at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. After the reception, a shuttle will return guests to The Starboard for a Dewey after-party celebration. We hope you’ll join us! Please indicate on your RSVP if you plan to use the shuttle so we can ensure there is plenty of space for everyone.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for more details of our hotel block. We have blocks at the Hyatt Dewey Beach & Gold Leaf Hotel.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Metered parking is available near the church. As August is a busy beach season, we suggest allowing extra time for arrival or taking advantage of the shuttle departing from The Starboard. There is ample parking available at Rehoboth Beach Country Club for the reception.

Please RSVP through the RSVP section of this website by August 1, 2026. You’ll be able to indicate your attendance, meal selection, and shuttle preference there. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
