Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your children, this will be a 21+ event. We fully understand the impact this may have on those with children, but due to the nearby water features and alcohol being served we chose an adults-only event for the safety and comfort of all.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation provided between the hotel and venue. Shuttles will run loops between the hotel and venue between 3:30p-5:30p and 10:00p-12:00a. It is about a 10 min ride. You may park at the hotel and take the shuttle even if not staying at the hotel, and we recommend this option for anyone who may want to attend the after party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Justin and I both have large families and lots of friends attending from around the country. The venue has very limited space for guests. We will designate on your invitation and when you RSVP if we were able to provide a plus one for you. We cannot accommodate any extra guests.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. If you know the Milligans, they don’t joke around with staying on time. We are trying to keep the ceremony short and sweet, so beware if you run too late you may miss it! Seating will begin at 4:30 PM, but please arrive no later than 4:45 PM.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs can be completed through this website. If you are having difficulty or prefer a non-tech option you may text or call your response to a member of the bridal party before the deadline.

Where should I stay?

Answer

You are welcome to stay at the hotel of your choice, but we do have a hotel block with discounted rooms. Please see the Wedding Hotel Block section of this website for more information. Discounted block room rate expires May 29!

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The venue has plenty of parking available for those who want to drive. We want everyone to have a great time with us and strongly encourage the use of the hotel shuttle, Uber, or Lyft for those who may choose to have some adult beverages.

Is everything taking place in the same location?

Answer

Yes! We are taking full advantage of the stunning venue that is Manor House at Prophecy Creek. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place on site with no breaks between.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Weather dependent, but the plan is for ceremony and cocktail hour to be held outdoors. Reception is in an indoor/outdoor tent, which will be heated or air conditioned based on the weather.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire that is not white is recommended. Short dresses are totally acceptable. No jeans. Plenty of walking paths are available, but ladies may want to wear wedges/chunkier heels to assist with walking in the grass during the ceremony and cocktail hour. All may want to consider bringing sunglasses for outdoor ceremony.
