"So Should We Make This Thing Happen?" Ben and Megan met at West Seattle's Bethany Community Church during the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. They fostered a friendship at church, at the bowling alley, through numerous bike rides, on trips to Ounces Taproom, and many (many) karaoke nights with Hannah and Pearson at the Chelan Cafe. Throughout the couple's dating relationship, they often shared how thankful they were for their shared faith in the Lord, their incredible and grace-filled community of friends, and for each other's willingness to listen and love as they grew, both individually and as a couple. In a quiet moment at Ben's house on January 1, 2024, the couple looked through pictures of their past year together and reminisced on how blessed they felt to be surrounded by such incredible people. Megan left the room for a moment. When she retuned, she asked Ben if he knew that if she took his last name, she would become 'M-cubed' (Megan Marie Millhouse). "So are we going to make that happen?" she teasingly asked Ben. Little did Megan know, Ben was hiding a ring box (inside of a gym sock) behind his back even before she asked her snarky question. Ben got down on one knee and said some incredibly thoughtful words about their relationship. He asked her to marry him and obviously, she said "yes!" Who are we kidding? Have you met Ben? The couple has had an incredible time planning the wedding with the help of Bill and Jill Duffy. Ben and Megan are so grateful to the Duffys in sharing their home for the wedding. The entire family is excited to host you for the event. You are so important to Ben and Megan. Because space at the Duffy's home is limited, the couple had to be very discerning about who they invited. You have been invited because Ben and Megan see you as an important element of their community, and they did not want to miss out on spending time with you on their special day.
