Where it all Began

First Comes School, Then Comes Marriage

David & I first met at a D-now weekend in the 6th grade. I wrote my moms phone number on a piece of paper, since neither of us had cell phones, and a mutual friend took it to him for me. We quickly became an "item" if that's even a thing in 6th grade! After a few days of my moms phone ringing off the hook and us starting back school at different schools we quit talking to each other and that was that. Fast forward to the end of 8th grade and my parents let me know we were moving to Puckett (David's hometown). About a week after that David "followed" me on Instagram with a direct message saying "remember me?". we quickly began talking to each other nonstop for the entire summer. We were both very excited about my move to Puckett. My 9th grade year starts at Puckett and David & I were still close friends. The second week in we had a school function called "Meet the Wolves". I was planning on skipping but David had spoken to one of my friends and she convinced me to attend. I got there and met up with David and after a lot of awkward silence and me finally saying I was about to have to leave he finally said "So uh would you like to, uh like, uh, be my girlfriend?" much to my surprise. I was elated and quickly said Yes! Now, nearly 5 years later, I have the strongest and closest friendship & relationship with the man I'm blessed to call my fiance!
