Our story didn’t start with a grand gesture or a love-at-first-sight moment—it began with laughter on a vacation, shared glances across crowded rooms, and a friendship that always felt like it could be something more. We met years ago, surrounded by mutual friends, sun-drenched days, and late-night conversations that blurred into early mornings. Over time, we became familiar pieces of each other’s world. Always close, never quite aligned—until, suddenly, we were. One day, it just made sense. The timing, the connection, the quiet knowing that we didn’t want to imagine life without the other. So we gave it a shot. Long distance. Seven months of airports, phone calls, goodbyes that hurt and reunions that made it all worth it. It wasn’t easy, but it was ours—and it taught us what kind of love we were building: patient, intentional, unshakable. Together, we’ve collected memories in new cities, found joy in game nights and quiet evenings in, and learned that love isn’t just something that happens—it’s something you choose. Every single day.
