Wedding Party

Meet some of our closest friends and members of our wedding party!

Michelle Prudente

Maid of Honor

Michelle and Alex became friends in the 2nd grade and grew up together in Long Hill Township, NJ. As kids, they made memories giggling in the back of Michelle's family Astro Van, accompanying her dad to antique car shows, and (in true "Jersey Girl" fashion) chasing after boys at the mall. Michelle eventually moved across the country to Long Beach, CA, but the two remained connected over their unquenchable thirst for travel and unconditional support for one another.

Grant Thonack

Best Man

Grant and Mason made acquaintances as lifeguards on the pool decks of Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. They soon ventured from the lifeguard stands to quickly establish a solid friendship based on shared passions for music and comedy. The two constantly bounced their interests off of each other; not only expanding their respective tastes, but strengthening their bond as friends. Although the two moved further apart physically, over a decade of ski trips, concerts, and raves have solidified their friendship into a lasting one.

Emily Hyde

Bridesmaid

Emily was the first person Alex met while studying abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece in the spring of 2012. Alone in a new country, the two connected instantly and were inseparable throughout the remainder of the semester. They became so close that the people they met along their travels often mistook them for sisters! Emily and Alex grew from their friendship and experiences abroad, as they encouraged each other to get out of their respective shells by trying new things, even if it resulted in accidentally getting tear-gassed at a football game. Along with Gina & their group of friends, they had the adventure of a lifetime and were forever changed by their semester abroad.

James Duffney

Groomsman

Duff and Mason quickly hit it off when they first met each other at a Christmas party in 1995. By early '96 they were inseparable and subsequently spent much of their youth together; to the point where many would mistake Mason as the third Duffney brother. Days of playing "Hydro" and running around Driftwood Cabana Club soon gave way to late nights cruising in Mason's Jetta and hanging out by Duff's fire pit. Hundreds of miles and 25 years have not marred the bond they first made at that legendary Christmas party.

Gina Beccia-Wrenn

Bridesmaid

Alex and Gina met when they were living in Thessaloniki, Greece, during a semester abroad in college.  Gina broke her camera immediately after moving in and found friendship in Alex, who is notorious for her inclination towards photography.  Alex was impressed by Gina's innovative dance moves and her keen ability to never repeat an outfit (like seriously, how many clothes did you pack!?).  The two bonded over cheap wine (which sometimes caused hives...), getting their friends out of sketchy situations, and dancing until the sunrise.  They have shared many wild and unforgettable adventures in their travels since, but nothing compares to that semester abroad.

Myles Peterson

Groomsman

Myles and Mason first became friends when Myles was still the "new kid" in the 6th grade. Friday afternoon Halo 2 marathons swiftly evolved into a burgeoning interest in mountain biking. Highschool days were spent exploring the singletrack trails of Hartshorne and Huber Woods Parks; eventually culminating in an epic Colorado mountain biking trip years on. Their close friendship has only strengthened as they continue to bond over mountain biking, music, politics, and video games.

Rachel Kovacs

Bridesmaid

Alex and Rachel were classmates while they were both pursuing their doctorates in Philly. They became friends through their shared interest in true crime, spending countless hours watching documentaries and discussing their opinions on unsolved mysteries. The two also found great support in each other during some of the more grueling parts of school. After completing their doctorates, Rachel and Alex both started their careers as psychologists in Baltimore, where their friendship continues to grow.

Kitt Murphy

Groomsman

Kitt and Mason first met in Mr. Herkimer's home-room before class at RFH. A budding fascination with this new music called "dubstep" was the initial catalyst for their friendship. As they got to know each other better, their friendship soon moved beyond only a shared passion for bass heavy tunes. Before long they were going on vacations together and drooling over imported cars, all the while making each other laugh (and yes, listening to dubstep).

Michael Marquez

Bridesman

Mike and Alex met when they both matched at Towson University's Counseling Center for their pre-doctoral internship. Their offices were right next to each other and, when they weren't busy seeing clients, they were often popping in to make each other laugh. Along with their intern cohort, they found support and friendship, which was crucial to making it through a difficult year in their training. After internship, Alex and Mike settled in Baltimore and remained close friends.

Tyler Hendrickson

Groomsman

Tyler and Mason's friendship was established when they housed together with Bernard Miller at Townhouses East, junior year of TCNJ. The two made quick friends; sharing an interest in music, the outdoors, and in world affairs. Always looking for new adventures, they found themselves at numerous Phish concerts, camping trips, and City nights years beyond graduation.

Bernard Miller

Officiant

Bernard and Mason became close friends sophomore year of TCNJ. Alongside Tyler Hendrickson, Bernie and Mason bonded over music. Bernie wasted no time in convincing Mason to pick up playing bass guitar; forming "Illiterate Convenience" and parsing out free bass lessons along the way. Since they were roommates for two consecutive years, Bernie inevitably befriended Alex and the three made lasting memories together. Having Bernie officiate the ceremony is a way of cementing the time spent together as friends, band mates, and housemates; building foundation for lifelong relationships.
