Attire for our wedding is Black Tie. Think: tuxedos and floor-length gowns! This outdoor hilltop Malibu location can get a bit chilly and windy at night. While we hope that the June sun will keep us warm past dusk, plan to bring a shawl should you need it. We will have a hard surface dancefloor but since the venue is outdoors, dinner tables and other areas of the venue will have soft grass. Block heels or comfortable shoes will likely help keep you dancing all night!
We'll admit - finding this spot isn't the easiest, but aren't all the best gems hard to find? Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to park and shuttle up to the venue location. No cars will be allowed to park directly at the venue site and must be parked with a valet. Once your vehicle is valeted, you will be escorted to the shuttle which will take you up the winery's winding road to the Hilltop location. DIRECTIONS - From the 101 Ventura Freeway: Exit Kanan Road and travel south (toward the beach) for approximately 8 miles. After driving through 2 tunnels, turn right on Mulholland Highway. Continue on Mulholland Highway approximately 1 mile. There will be a fork in the road which will say Encinal/Mulholland – Veer right at Mulholland Hwy. Enter through the beige wooden gate called “Malibu Wine Tours”. The gate is located approximately 50 ft before the Back Gate (32111 Mulholland Hwy.) A valet attendant will direct you where to park.

A Persian wedding is great because, as Kyle says, "you get to sit down!" In addition to a processional and vows, we will incorporate some traditional Persian ceremonial aspects, as well. Traditional Persian wedding ceremonies are mostly secular today and date back to Zoroastrian times of the 6th Century BCE. There are many symbolic elements which are displayed on a table in front of the wedded couple, called a Sofreh Aghd. The Sofreh Aghd will hold items like Honey - for sweetness in the marriage A mirror - to bring light and brightness into the couple's future Almonds and cashews - to represent fertility Sugar cones - to shower sweetness onto the couple Fruits - to bring cheerfulness Bread - to bring prosperity and so much more!
