It all started with a little matchmaking magic from my client-turned-friend, Renee, and her husband Travis, who happened to be Chris’s Lieutenant at the fire department. I was half-joking when I asked Renee if there were any single guys at the station—and she didn’t hesitate to send me a picture of Chris. I always say I “clicked add to cart,” and the rest is history! I reached out on social media, and we met for the first time on November 12, 2022, at Craft & Crust in Remington, VA. A week later, we had our first official date, and just three weeks after that, I casually asked if he wanted to come to Vegas with me—fully expecting him to say no.
