It all started with a Hinge match in Worcester — a swipe that turned into endless conversations about food, music, travel, cybersecurity threats and the things that make life fun. From the very beginning, there was an easy connection — and, most importantly, Tyler passed the ultimate test: Archie, Alex’s Bernese Mountain Dog, loved him almost immediately. Their adventures began with road trips to Niagara Falls, Vermont, and Acadia National Park, exploring new places and making memories along the way. What started off as something casual soon became something much more — especially after a running joke about Tyler moving in as an excuse to kick out Alex’s roommate turned into reality. It wasn’t exactly smooth sailing for everyone… Archie was thrilled, but Tyler’s cats, Archer and Bandit, were less than impressed with their new (loud) housemates! Over the years, they built a life full of laughter, travel, secure passwords and shared adventures. Then this past summer while Tyler was helping Alex’s dad, Domenic move his fish tanks to the Cape, he asked for his blessing to propose. Domenic was shocked, excited, and happily agreed. A few months later, Tyler planned a weekend filled with Alex’s favorite things — the beach, good food, and a stunning sunset with Archie — and there, he got down on one knee. Though Alex and Tyler couldn’t be more different in personality, they’ve always complemented each other perfectly. And when the idea of a wedding in Italy came up, it was one of those rare moments where they were completely in sync.
