FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you are able to to both the Welcome Event and the Wedding. The deadline to RSVP is May 27th, 2025. Please also make sure to answer the questions about transportation!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire. Colors are strongly encouraged!

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation and RSVP. We hope you understand our decision.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, we will not be including them at the welcome event or at the wedding. We hope you can enjoy a fun, relaxing evening with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Strawbery Banke Museum by 3:30pm.

Question

How will I get from the ceremony site to the reception site?

Answer

We encourage you to enjoy a walk through the city with us to the reception site, just about 0.5 miles away. A bus is available if preferred!

Question

What are the options for transportation?

Answer

We will have a bus available for transportation. Uber and Lyft are also an option. All locations are very walkable (under 1 mile from one another)! Hotel to Strawbery Banke: 0.6 miles Strawbery Banke to Jimmy's: 0.5 miles Jimmy's to After Party: 0.2 miles

Question

Is there parking available nearby?

Answer

There is no designated parking at the ceremony site or reception site. There is free 72 hour parking available on Parrott Ave near Citizens Bank. https://www.portsmouthnh.gov/publicworks/parkportsmouth/parking-locations-map-pricing We recommend parking at your hotel/airbnb and taking alternative transportation from there. There are also other various parking lots/garages around the city, but it will likely be cheaper to park at your hotel/airbnb or the free Parrott Ave parking if you are parking for the whole weekend.

Question

What else can I do around Portsmouth?

Answer

Portsmouth has so many great restaurants. You could also stop by the shops, go to a brewery or bar on the water, or just explore the entire downtown! You will also be only a quick ride away from Maine where you can visit Kittery, York, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport.

For all the days along the way
