Is it open bar?

Answer

YES, cocktail hour and the reception are open bar! A cash bar will be available upon arrival prior to the start of cocktail hour.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The bride and groom have contacted friends and family with young children prior to invitations being sent. We ask anyone attending not be under 21 years of age.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2021!

Can I bring a plus one if I didn't RSVP with a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, bringing a plus one without RSVPing them will not be allowed. Our final head count is due prior to the big day, please RSVP accordingly and on time.

I did not RSVP by the deadline if I text you now can I attend?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is there for a reason, we need to give our venue and vendors a head count prior to the big day. Unfortunately, if you did not RSVP by the deadline we are unable to add you to the guest list.

Can I come to the reception but not the ceremony (or vice versa)?

Answer

Yes, please be sure that you RSVP!

I can't make it to the ceremony or the reception, do I still need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please RSVP that you are NOT able to attend. We will certainly miss you at our celebration!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and would prefer if guests did not take their own photos during the ceremony in fear that guests phones will be in our professional wedding pictures. However, during cocktail hour and the reception, snap away!

What should I wear?

Answer

We want our guests to look and feel their best while still being comfortable and ready to dance! Appropriate attire for the fellas-- slacks, button up, and dress shoes, and for the ladies-- a dress or romper and a cute pair of shoes will do!

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Please use #Gulakherdown and #GoingGulak when sharing your photos on social media! Please keep in mind that we do not want guests taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and do not want personal devices getting in the way of our photographers camera.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special dinner request?

Answer

When you RSVP to our wedding, please indicate any food allergies you have and we will let the venue know. When you arrive to the reception, please let the wait staff know prior to dinner service so we can ensure you receive an allergen free meal.

Do you have a registry for wedding gifts?

Answer

Please click on the registry tab of the website to view our registries. We will also happily accept any generous gift not listed on our registries, we appreciate the kindness!
