Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

We're going for a springy color theme with cool-toned neutral shades of brown and grey, and natural shades of green and light pink (refer to picture above). The bridesmaids will be wearing dark olive dresses, and the groomsmen will be wearing medium grey suits. Feel free to wear something that fits this theme, or go with your own style!

Will it be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The 30-minute ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. Once the sun goes down and it's a bit cooler, we'll open up the reception area to enjoy some fun outdoor activities!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We'll keep this updated as we get closer, but historical averages for Black Canyon City have a high temperature around 98 degrees F on June 2nd. We will have outdoor air conditioners available outside to help during the ceremony, and the reception will be indoors with cold air conditioning. We'll also have popsicles and plenty of ice water available to help keep cool :)

Where do I park?

Answer

The Chilleens Wedding Venue is located all the way at the back of the property (past the gift shop and restaurant). There is parking available behind the wedding venue, and additional parking available around the side of the building.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the ceremony time so that you can find your seats. Doors open to guests 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, and you're welcome to hang around inside or outside and enjoy some popsicles and light snacks before we get started!

What's for dinner?

Answer

We'll be serving a BBQ menu with some snacks and desserts as noted below. Please be sure to let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies as soon as possible and we'll try our best to accommodate. 30 minutes before ceremony: - Ice cold water & locally-made, fresh popsicles available outside. - Chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso available inside along with soda, tea, lemonade, and alcoholic beverages. Immediately after ceremony: - Continue enjoying popsicles, chips and dips, and beverages. Dinner: - Dinner will be served buffet-style table by table. We'll have a BBQ menu consisting of pulled pork, pulled chicken, BBQ sauce, ranch-style beans, coleslaw, and dinner rolls. Dessert: - Will be posted here when confirmed :)

Plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to choose from including: - Soda (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, and Diet Mountain Dew) - Lemonade - Iced Tea - Coffee - Looooooots of water (remember to hydrate in the hot AZ weather!) - Bride's signature mocktail - Groom's signature mocktail - Beer - Wine - Cocktails
