This is the neighborhood surrounding the reception venue, and home to some of our favorite stops for a drink (see more specific recs below). Also worth noting in this area are critically acclaimed barbecue spots Panther City and Brix BBQ, as well as The Bearded Lady which is a good pick for brunch on their large patio.
Chill local brewery, would be a perfect spot to hang post-ceremony. We love to get food from nearby food truck Big Kat Burgers or Coco Shrimp and sit outside.

Once home to cowboys, cattlemen and outlaws, today visitors come to the Stockyards to get a taste of the true American West. Begin your journey on Exchange Avenue, where the weathered brick streets are lined with historic buildings, restaurants, shops, saloons and other attractions. See The Fort Worth Herd, a twice-daily longhorn cattle drive, at 11:30 a.m and 4 p.m.

Located in the Stockyards neighborhood with a seating capacity of over 1000 people, this Fort Worth institution is known for potent margaritas along with old-school Tex-Mex combo plates in a gorgeous garden courtyard! If the weather is nice, expect a line but you can get margaritas while you wait. Please note Joe T's is cash only, they do have an ATM onsite
Located a few miles west of downtown, this neighborhood has multiple museums spanning a large range of interests as well as many restaurants and bars. Some of our favorite eats include Hatsuyuki for fresh hand rolls & sashimi or Cookshack’s spicy fried chicken.
This renowned museum in the cultural district houses a collection of Asian and European art set in a building designed by architect Louis Kahn. See European works from Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Picasso, and more as well as pieces from all over Asia and Africa.
The Modern is Giselle’s favorite museum in Fort Worth! Located in the cultural district and free entrance on Fridays. Acclaimed collection of contemporary art with a beautiful reflecting pool. Also down the street is the Amon Carter museum of American art which houses a diverse collection from the 18th century to present, free admission daily.
