Noelle followed Andrew on Instagram after someone messaged her saying "Hey, are you single? I have this friend I think you would really like. He likes Creed and the gym and has a dark sense of humor like you". Andrew was the first to message. The plan for the first date was to meet for dinner or drinks. They picked a Wednesday and the 'when and where' would be decided later. As they talked, they got on the discussion of things they would and would NOT do based on what they have seen as nurses. When Andrew mentioned skydiving, he seemed to have an ulterior motive. It just so happened that Noelle actually had skydiving on her bucket list. Andrew found a Groupon and after 20 minutes of silence on Instagram messaging, he finally responded that they were booked for skydiving on Wednesday instead of dinner. Because, "You can get dinner on any first date. At least we will have an unforgettable first date". Andrew picked Noelle up for their skydive date at 7am. He drove her into the middle of the desert via dirt roads and finally arrived at their destination. The WRONG destination. They hopped back in the truck and drove another 45 minutes to the correct destination. There, they jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet or something like that. Noelle was extremely surprised when they were back on the ground safely and Andrew said "I brought a little surprise for you". Instead of putting Noelle in a true crime documentary as she originally thought, Andrew surprised her with champagne and adult lunchables for a tailgate picnic. He even brought donuts to celebrate her birthday which was 3 days before. Since then, Andrew has been surprising Noelle in thoughtful ways on a regular basis.
