We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Tyler and I met at the ice cream social on the very first day of freshmen orientation at Kettering University, where we were not being very social haha. Having similar majors though meant that our paths would cross a few times during orientation, and even more during the first week of classes. I ended up asking Tyler to study Calc II in a small group that first week, however only him and I showed up to study. That was when we first realized we had a lot in common. A few weeks later, he returned the book we shared for the First Year Experience class to my dorm room, and shortly after he messaged me to look through the book. There I found a cute sticky note asking me to go on a date with him. That weekend we went to a nearby nature preserve, where we asked each other questions we wanted to know about each other, and stopped for food on the way back to Kettering. It was the perfect date, the following week, August 2nd, we were officially a couple. The years quickly flew by, filled with the different good and bad things life brings, showing us how much we love, trust, and depend on each other. A little over four years later, we went on our annual trip to the Detroit Zoo Lights, there I was completely surprised with Tyler getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. We cannot wait to start our life together as a married couple and we are so excited for all of our wonderful family and friends to share our special day with us.
