Jahanna & Michael

Wedding Party

Meet our friends walking down the aisle with us!

Aaron

Best Man

An enigma, just a name and title

Elizabeth

Maid of Honor

David

Officiant

From awkward middle school functions to questionable teenage fashion choices, I've been able to witness almost every stage of Michael's life, and I wouldn't trade it for anything (except for maybe some hard to find Magic the Gathering cards). Speaking of which, Michael is the one who brought me into the world of tabletop gaming. From slaying fictional dragons in D&D campaigns at his parents houses to the plethora of card/board games I play on a regular basis, none of this would have been possible if he didn't introduce me what I now consider my favorite hobbies. And let's not forget our shared thespian past, where I also got to know Jahanna. Michael always brought great amounts of passion to roles no matter how big or small, and Jahanna did fantastic work behind the scenes. Seeing Michael find happiness with Jahanna is truly special, and I'm honored to stand by his side as he embarks on this next act.

Joe

Groomsman

Joe met Michael in high school through a mutual friend (shoutout to Aaron), and the two became closer after Michael helped him land a job at a local pizza place. Once the pandemic hit, Michael recruited Joe into the cult that is playing TTRPGs, and they've been doing it together ever since after he got Joe addicted to it.

Kellyce

Groomsman

Hi I'm Kellyce Taylor( Kells, K). I truly belive laughter is one of best things in life. And the time I've known Michael has just been full of it. Michael has been a great friend to me, so to be a part of this amazing point in his life is truly an honor.

Hanna and I met in college, where I (the extrovert) forced my friendship upon her (the introvert). There were times during our program that life outside of it didn’t feel real; laying on the floors in our ASL lab internally (and sometimes externally) screaming, 3am phone calls discussing assignments, endless hours practicing, planning study groups and occasionally some sprinkled in fun. Hanna was my rock and go to during those years. As wise as I pretended to be, she was often my voice of reason. Now, as a special education teacher, I think of all the times her calm in the chaos balanced me, and try to reproduce her steady but persistent qualities in my classroom. A friend, and a role model, I’m so grateful to have and to love and to celebrate forever. I’m so excited for her and Michael and this next chapter because I love the story they’ve written so far.
