Our Story

The Lover’s Fight

Passion is something that everyone can relate to. But what these two share is a passion for their lives and their craft. Theatre, Stage Combat, and living a peaceful, simple life. Theatre brought LW and Abby close together. They became each other’s right hand men. Working on shows together, building sets, or setting up lights allowed them to talk and laugh for hours. After a year they became the best of friends. After a while the two found themselves in Missouri for a Stage Combat workshop and meet wonderful people. They both fell in love with this new art form. And over the few months while working on this new craft they became even closer. Bonding over loosing loved ones, past experiences, and other losses. Having someone that will just sit and listen and help you through the hard times is someone that you don’t want to lose, ever. One moment that sticks with Abby the most was her brother’s 4 year death-iversary. Her family was all together, but she couldn’t be there. It seemed that LW was the only person that knew what day it was for her. She got a call from her mom as her family was visiting the grave site, they had found out that her brother’s resting place was disturbed. She tried to hold it together as best she could until the call was over. She broke down in a corner and hid her face in her hands. Before she looked up, LW was there saying “You’re not alone.” In that moment she knew she found someone that would stay in her life forever and be there for her no matter what. After this day they soon talked to each other about everything. There was a place they like to go to get away from stress and drama of the world. They would sit and enjoy the wind and the stars and sometimes didn’t even have to say anything. These became LW’s favorite moments. Being able to just sit, relax, and breathe with someone you trust more than anyone else can ease your mind and soul from any distress. After a year and a half of them meeting and getting to know each other they both realized how much they cared about each other. A friendship soon grew into something more. With many conversations on their respect, honesty, and loyalty for each other, they became engaged. Their love story is a special one, but a powerful one.
