We first met through mutual friends and lost contact. Six years later we met each other again at the Coralville Mall. She was working at the Mall and He was working across the street. After a few lunch and dinner dates, we decided there was something special.

In October 2019, we were enjoying our annual family trip to Keosaqua, Iowa. While taking photos on the historic bridge in Bentonsport, Iowa, he got down on one knee. Of course she said "yes."
