We first met on an abnormally warm November day in 2022 at the Fall Festival in Fells Point. Annie’s friend, Becca, invited her there and another friend, Patrick, met up with them and happened to bring Andrew along. From the moment we met, it felt easy. We spent the whole day (and most of the night) deep in conversation, hardly noticing anyone else. A few days later, we went on our first date at 1157, a little cocktail bar tucked away in Locust Point. (It’s closed now, but it will always be special to us.) From that night on, everything just felt right — simple and natural. By summer 2023, we were taking on our first project together: remodeling Andrew’s kitchen. What was supposed to be a two-week project turned into five months of dust, drywall, and living out of a laundry basket. During that time, Andrew and his dog Buster moved into Annie’s house in Canton, and before long, our lives had blended together. After the kitchen was finally finished in the fall, Annie and her dog Rusty (RIP) moved with them back into the newly renovated home in Locust Point. We took our next big step in January 2025, when on a sunset sailboat cruise in Belize, Andrew asked Annie the easiest question she’s ever answered. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you — the people we love most.
