What should I wear to the welcome reception?

Answer

The dress code is smart casual. We understand that some guests will be traveling to Pittsburgh on Friday while others will be coming straight from work. Please wear whatever you are comfortable and warm in! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail. A suit or dress shirt with a tie is suggested. A dress or dressy separates is suggested.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is valet parking available at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco ($27 event parking; $45 nightly). The closest self-parking is Mellon Square Garage. It is currently undergoing renovations, causing one of the stairwells to be inaccessible, but the elevators are operational. Other nearby parking garages: - Oliver Garage (Oliver Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 - next to Fogo de Chao) - Smithfield-Liberty Garage (111 9th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) For guests staying at the Marriott Pittsburgh City Center, the closest parking options are: - Chatham Parking Garage (112 Washington Pl Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219)

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should begin finding their seats in the Sofia ballroom around 2:30pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm.

What should I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to take this time to relax or explore the surrounding area of Downtown Pittsburgh (see "Things to Do" tab!). The Commoner bar (located in the lower level of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco) will open at 4:00pm.
